As Grants Administrator, Vivian Victoria brings a unique blend of expertise in grant management, financial reporting, and relationship-building.  With meticulous attention to detail and a passion for fostering a trust-based relationship with grantees, Vivian is a collaborative advisor while providing support to applicants and grantees throughout the grant cycle and serves as the primary point of contact for grant-related inquiries. With nearly a decade of expertise in strategic grants management, logistics facilitation, and project coordination, Vivian’s experience is marked by a commitment to optimizing resource allocation, enhancing operational efficiency, and cultivating collaborative project environments.

Additionally, Vivian has been recognized for her commitment to racial equity and inclusion in philanthropy.  In 2021, she was invited to join the Houston Anti-Racist Funders Cohort for the Greater Houston region. By joining the cohort as the sole representative from Galveston, she amplifies the HEKF’s commitment to equitable grantmaking.  She is passionate about building a culture around incorporating anti-racist funding practices that increase access to opportunities and resources for all, particularly marginalized community members.

Before entering the philanthropic sector, Vivian gained valuable experience in federal grant management, healthcare administration, and executive support in the oil and gas sector. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
