2025 Application

Starting January 2025, the Kempner Fund will open its application process under its new grantmaking strategy.

The new request process includes the following:

1. Eligibility screen: all grant programs

2. Letter of Interest (LOI): Core Grants Program only

3. Invitation to submit a full application: all grant programs

Under the new strategy, the Kempner Fund has expanded the types of grants offered to eligible nonprofit applicants, including:

• Smaller, Micro-Funding

  • Micro-Grants Program

  • Navigation Fund

• Core Grants Program

  • 1-year and multi-year grants
