What’s Next:

Since 2020, the HEKF’s board and staff have embarked on a strategic journey to assess our operations in context with Galveston’s evolving needs, and those of our nonprofit partners. This exploration has equipped us with a deeper understanding of our organization’s needs and composition and the nuanced dynamics of the many missions the HEKF supports.

We have evolved our grantmaking as part of our greater philanthropic strategy to better address the changing needs of Galveston and to maximize our resources in line with the HEKF’s values and mission.
